ADA Compliance Reports

Many property owners don’t understand the accessibility conditions of their existing buildings when entertaining and re-negotiating various agreements.  To keep our clients informed and pro-active, we offer American Disability Act (ADA) Compliance Reports.  These reports can be catered to specific building areas and/or aspects to fit each client need.

US Building Survey (ADA) Compliance Reports assess an existing property’s compliance with the 2010 Standards for Accessible Design and identify areas that are not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG).  The goal of our compliance reviews of handicap regulations and guidelines is to identify accessibility problems and to provide a guide for making an existing facility more usable for people with disabilities.

Each (ADA) Compliance Report includes a description of the facility, individual accessibility components in question and a comparison with current accessible design standards. We provide photographed documentation and prioritize recommendations.

Under current regulations, all existing facilities considered to be “public accommodations” must take appropriate measures to remove architectural and communication barriers that are deemed “readily achievable.”  A readily achievable alteration is defined as “easily accomplishable and able to be carried out without much difficulty or expense.”
